 Conference format update

It is our deepest regret to announce that, due to the rapidly deteriorating situation all over Europe, the in-person part of the conference needs to be cancelled. The conference will still take place as a virtual-only event. All physical registrations will be converted to their virtual equivalent rate, and refunds will follow soon. Although this is very sad news, the well-being of the community is the utmost priority.


We plan MUM2021 to be an interactive virtual conference and hope that the conference system we plan to use facilitates interactive discussions and scientific exchange like a regular conference.

The International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM) is a leading annual international conference, which provides a forum for presenting the latest research results on mobile and ubiquitous multimedia. The conference brings together experts from both academia and industry for a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussion on future challenges, in a comfortable and effective single-track conference format.

The 20th International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM 2021) will be held in Leuven, Belgium, December 5 - December 8, 2021.

In addition to the peer-reviewed accepted papers, the conference program will include keynote presentations, posters, demos and a video track. The conference will also have a co-located doctoral school. The technical program will be complemented by several social events to facilitate informal discussions and networking among the conference attendees and invited guests.
